The food in Kauai was fabulous. Our favorite place was located right on Poipu Beach and was called Brennecke's Beach Broiler.
The food was wonderful, the view was breathtaking and there was something for everyone. Also included in these pictures are
cocktails at the Grand Hyatt, dinner at Keoki's, Heidi's rehersal dinner at Tidepools (Grand Hyatt), breakfast at the Olympic
Cafe in Kapaa and of course ice cream at Lapperts.

These are pictures from our camera as well as Danica's. They start from the beginning of the day and follow through until
the end of the wedding reception. Heidi could not have asked for a better Hawaiian weather day. It was a beautiful wedding.

Due to a delay in Salt Lake, we missed our connecting flight in San Fran which meant we didn't get on the plane with Heidi
& Phil as we expected to. Not only that, but we had to spend 8 hrs at the SFO airport with our 3 kids and then board a
plane for 5 hours. Boy, what a day. By the end of it, you'll understand the last photos listed.

So, I may have took these (edited them a bit) from Heidi's professional photographer. They did a fabulous job on pictures.
These pics are from the whole wedding day as well.

We stayed in beautiful Poipu Beach at the Kiahuna Plantation resort. We've included pictures from Poipu & our condo below.

We were really lucky to be able to go on a tubing backcountry adventure with the kids. The company took us to an old, unused
Plantation deep in the backcountry of Kauai. We floated down the canal through many different tunnels, hence the headlamps.
Later we were served a nice lunch and were able to swim in a remote location with waterfalls. Also on this page you'll see
our visit to Wailua Falls. The falls were made famous when it was featured in the opening scene of the popular television
show, Fanasty Island.

We were told by everyone that a luau was a MUST. So, on the advice of the concierge we picked the only luau on the beach which
just happened to be right next door to our condo at the Hilton in Poipu. It was a beautiful night and it even rained a bit,
I know, shocking!
